Covid: How many people have been vaccinated in Wales?

 

 

More than 300,000 people have 9 เคล็ดลับการชนะสำหรับเกม SLOTXO now had their full Covid-19 vaccination in Wales, according to latest figures.

 

So far, 37.4% of the Welsh population have had a first dose and 9.7% have had a full vaccination, data from Public Health Wales (PHW) shows.

 

On Wednesday, 22,904 people got a first dose and 15,226 were given a second.

 

It means a total of 1,180,155 people in Wales have been given a first dose while 304,411 have had the second dose - the full vaccination course.

 

More than 228,500 people were given a dose in the last week up to Tuesday.

 

This ties in with expectations from health officials, following the ramping up of supplies, including more of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

 

Looking further ahead, there has been a warning of a delay to supplies, due in mid-April, of about a month.

 

Nearly three quarters of healthcare workers and 64.5% of care home staff have also had the full course.

 

 

How many have received a first dose?

Up to Wednesday night, 1,180,155 people had been given their first dose in Wales - 37.4% of the population.

 

England had given first doses to 38.9% of its population and Scotland is on 37%. Northern Ireland is on 34.1%.

 

The UK nations have converged on numbers of first doses. The daily rate had tailed off but has picked up again as the programmes move on to the next set of priority groups and supplies have increased again.
